I am the current county borough councillor for Resolven and very proud to represent the community on the regional stage. I have been involved in developing the Resolven Community Events Group to which I am the chairman. Being involved with such a group fuelled my passion to integrate with community life and deliver additional services and facilities for the community, hence my running for local government.

I have lived in Resolven all my life with my wife and daughter. The Resolven Miners Welfare building needs representation and I fully intend to use my position and contacts to ensure the building is able to succeed and serve the community as it has done so in the past. The Resolven Miners Welfare was pivotal in its role as service and facility mediator during hard pressed times over the years; miners strikes in the 1980s is a clear example of this.
