Every Monday during school term, the Resolven Miners Welfare invites children who are comprehensive school age the opportunity to come and use the facilities. Currently we host a weekly quiz however it is up to the children to request what is on offer between 7pm and 9pm.
The charity recognises that during the winter months and early dark evenings setting in, some children feel that there is nowhere for them to socialise. Therefore the trustees and directors of the Resolven Miners Welfare agreed to open the building once a week for children to come and socialise in a warm and safe environment.
