Since October 2018, the Resolven Miners Welfare Scheme has been working with BBC Wales to produce a 30 minute programme that takes a look at social clubs across Wales. The charity welcomed the spotlight on such establishments as the restoration of the Resolven Miners Welfare building is the main objective set by the board of trustees. The programme features community groups within the area who use the building along with showing the progress of the plans for restoration of the building. The show will air on BBC One on September 23rd at 7.30pm. The building will be hosting a live showing of the programme on the big screen in the main hall of the Resolven Miners Welfare.
