Funding
We have been actively reaching out to numerous funding organisations to determine their potential support for our restoration project. Several have indicated that we need to complete the CIO (Incorporated Charity Status) setup before they can proceed with any support. Although we have been working on this for an extended period, we are still awaiting CISWO’s approval on the legal matters. We maintain regular contact with CISWO for updates, but they have yet to provide a clear timeline. Our efforts with funders will continue so that we are ready to proceed with applications once CISWO signs off.

Visit to Hwb y Gors, Cwmgors
The trustees visited the community group Awel Aman Tawe, which successfully raised millions to transform their former primary school into a vibrant, environmentally focused community hub. This visit was incredibly inspiring, and we gained valuable insights on managing large-scale restoration projects for our own building.

Government Representation
Following the general election, we will be reaching out to our MPs and AMs to seek their assistance with our project and to address the CISWO situation. Additionally, we will be requesting letters of support to enhance our applications for substantial funding from various organisations.

Insurance Policy
We are currently awaiting a decision from the financial ombudsman regarding our insurance policy. We will continue to seek updates and will report any developments through our monthly updates.
